Whether you're gone for an afternoon or two weeks, there's a visit that fits. Every service happens at your place.
Snakes, lizards, rodents and other unusual pets cared for exactly the way you do it.
Marly stays at your home so your pets have company day and night, and your house looks lived in.
Unhurried walks at your dog's pace, with plenty of time to sniff, so they're settled when you get home.
Short visits while you're at work or away, plus the chores that come with having pets.
Exotic pets are Marly's specialty, but she's comfortable with a wide range of animals. Here are a few of the things she keeps in mind for each.
Snakes rely on their enclosure for body heat, so the warm and cool sides are checked every visit. Feeding follows your schedule exactly.
Many lizards need UVB light to use calcium. Lights, basking temperatures and humidity are checked against your notes.
Rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils have teeth that never stop growing, so chews and fresh food matter. Nocturnal pets get quiet visits.
Tarantulas, frogs, hedgehogs or something else entirely. If it lives in your home, Marly wants to meet it.
Sniffing is exercise for the brain. A slow, curious walk can tire a dog out as much as a fast one.
Cats sleep 12 to 16 hours a day, so a calm visit and a clean litter box matter more than a lot of fuss.
Guinea pigs can't make their own vitamin C, and rabbits need hay all day. Fresh greens are part of every visit.
Cage covers go on and off at your usual times. Coops are opened in the morning, closed at dusk, and eggs collected.
Have an animal that isn't listed? Ask. The odder the better.
Choose who's staying home and how long you'll be gone.
After each visit Marly sends a short text and a photo: who ate, how the enclosures look, and anything you should know. Here's a typical update.

I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, especially the ones other sitters won't take on. Snakes, lizards, rats and the occasional toad are my favorites, and I'm just as happy walking your dog or scooping your cat's litter box. I treat your pets like my own and your home with respect.
This is where Marly's own story goes: how she got started, her background with exotic animals, and anything that helps clients feel at ease.
